Jeff Bernhardt: Mr. Jeff Bernhardt received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University in Long Beach in 1987 where he was a member of the President's List. He also studied Business Economics and and is a Public Health Nurse. He also holds an advanced Certificate in the Operating Room (CNOR). He received his Associate Degree in Nursing and Biology in 1984 from Long Beach City College. Mr. Bernhardt was an Officer in the U.S. Army Health Corps. Active Reserves for 4 years and was a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy from 1975 to 1987. Jeff Bernhardt has 42 years experience in Nursing and Health Care. He has spent the majority of that time specializing in surgical technology and perioperative nursing. He has been a manager in the Operating Room over the past 27 years. Jeff has held several posts including Supervisor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Long Beach Naval Hospital, Coordinator of Orthopedics and Neurosurgery at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, Manager of Orthopedics and Neurosurgery at St. Joseph's Hospital in Orange, and was part of the initial management team that developed Main Street Specialty Surgery Center.
